The laboratory is utilized for the preparation of samples intended for biochemical analyses. The laboratory is responsible for the isolation, expression and enzyme activity analysis of individual proteins obtained from the studied cell cultures.
The µQuant spectrophotometer (Bio-tek) is a plate spectrophotometer that can measure the optical density of solutions in 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, 96- or 384-well plates. The spectrophotometer has excellent optical specifications, with a wide range of up to 4000 absorbance units in some reading modes. The wavelength range is from 200-999 nm.
